Metal film resistor is one of the Film Resistors. It is made by using high-temperature vacuum coating technology to tightly attach Ni-Cr or similar alloy to the surface of porcelain rod to form a coating, cutting and adjusting the resistance value to achieve the final required precision resistance value, then adding appropriate joints for cutting, and coating epoxy resin on its surface for sealing protection. Because it is a lead resistor, it is convenient for manual installation and maintenance, small in size, low in noise, good in stability, but high in cost, and is used in most household appliances, communications, instruments and meters, and radio electronic equipment.
