Supercapacitor (also called supercapacitor or electrochemical capacitor) is a kind of high-performance energy storage device. The electrode materials are mostly activated carbon, such as carbon nanotubes, graphene conductive polymers, such as polypyrrole (PPy) and polyaniline (PANI), and metal oxides, such as cobalt oxide and manganese oxide. It has high power density and long service life, and is usually used in braking energy recovery systems of electric vehicles, wind energy and solar energy systems to provide short time.
